Dabbing has recently become a huge phenomenon in the world of cannabis. Although, dabbing has been around for the past decade, it wasn't until recently that it became a regular method of consuming marijuana. In this article, we'll go over some basic facts and address some common questions regarding dabbing.
Dabs are high-grade and highly concentrated doses of cannabis. They are made by extracting THC and other cannibinoids using several extraction techniques but usually involving butane. This results in different textures of smokable dabs including: shatter, budder, butane hash oil, and wax. Because dabs have an extremely high level of THC (commonly between 50-80% THC), they are known to give incredible "super-highs" really fast, one that would be impossible through regular consumption methods of marijuana, like a bong or pipe.
Once you understand what dabs are, you have to be able to consume it, this is called Dabbing. The way to do this is through using a device called a dab rig. This is like a water pipe, but different because it is dedicated for use with wax and oils. You will also need a dabber and a torch.
Step 1: Use your torch and aim it directly at the nail. You will want the nail to get piping hot, so when the nail turns red, it's ready to go.
Step 2: Turn your torch off, and place the glass dome over the nail.
Step 3: Use the dabber to apply the dab directly onto the nail inside the glass dome. Inhale slowly.
Step 4: Exhale!
There's another way to do this as well. If you're looking for a portable and efficient solution, one with less steps - we recommend using a dab pen. These come in all shapes and sizes, but one thing is for sure, they aren't as big as a dabbing rig and you don't need a torch.
There you guys have it! Enough information to get you ready for your first dab.
