CBD For The People has been a leading distributor and proponent of uncut CBD products since 2018. Based in Newport Beach, California, CBD For The People is tired of the industry’s preference for looks over quality.
CBD For The People’s CBD products use full-spectrum CBD extract from Certified non-GMO and organic hemp flowers using supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2), a special state of carbon dioxide that is a standard for clean extraction in the cannabis industry. The resulting CBD extract is affectionately called the “Master Batch.” The Master Batch is pure full-spectrum and is marked by its dark color and thick viscosity.
Depending on the product, CBD For The People then distills and winterizes the Master Batch again and again to achieve stronger concentrations of CBD. The Master Batch is distilled into “Dark Raw” CBD extract, “Blonde Raw” extract, “Amber Raw,” and finally “Gold Raw” for the most powerful products. CBD For The People even offers no THC detected tinctures for those that prefer pure CBD products without any trace of THC that might show up on a drug test. CBD For The People sent over their 600mg Lavender CBD Salve and their OG CBD Uncut Wax Cartridge and Max Battery for review. I was very excited to try these unrefined and uncut CBD products.
CBD For The People’s Lavender 600mg Unrefined CBD Salve comes in a 2 ounce, black, childproof jar. The front of the jar features the CBD For The People teardrop logo that highlights a beautiful sunset with palm trees outlined under CBD FTP’s motto: “For The People.” As you turn the jar, the “For The People” motto and company mission is explained on one side while the full ingredient list is displayed on the other side.
As soon as I opened the jar of unrefined CBD salve, I was struck by the powerful but relaxing smell of hemp and lavender as well as the dark color. CBD For The People’s CBD salve contains organic arnica oil, organic coconut oil, unrefined African shea butter, organic candelilla wax, eucalyptus extract, vitamin E oil, and hemp extract. It didn’t smell like any CBD lotion that I had ever used before; in fact, just from the smell, I could tell that this was going to be powerful stuff. CBD For The People even cautions users on their site that “This product is so potent you only need a little bit each use.”
Keeping this warning in mind, I applied a fingertip full over the small of my back near the spine where a knot usually forms by the end of the day. I enjoyed the feeling of massaging in the salve as the consistency was thicker than any CBD topical that I had used before. Within an hour, I started to feel a strong and long-lasting loosening of my tight muscles where I applied the salve and also throughout the rest of my body. The relaxing and anti-inflammatory feeling lasted all the way until I went to bed, and I didn’t feel the need to reapply it because it was very much still in effect.

CBD For The People’s CBD Uncut Wax Cartridge comes in a black box with a window where you can see the CBD wax cartridge within. The top of the box features the teardrop CBD For The People logo while the bottom right features the terpene strain: OG Kush in this case. The backside of the box lists all the ingredients and extraction process. The cartridge comes with 1,000mg of level 2 distilled hemp extract, known as “Blonde Raw,” which tests in at 30% CBD and is meant to be hit at between 2.5v and 3.8v.
The accompanying CBD For The People, Max Battery can be adjusted to 3.6v, 3.1v, and 2.7v and also has a 1.8v preheat function. Since it was winter time and ambient temperatures were way colder than room temperature, I took full advantage of the CBD For The People battery’s built-in preheat function.
Simply tap twice and wait for up to fifteen seconds to activate the battery at 1.8v. I also employed and enjoyed double hits to make sure I was heating up the uncut CBD wax enough to vaporize it as much as I wanted. The throat hit was very noticeable, very impressive considering the all-natural nature of the product and lack of any Propylene Glycol (PG).
For those requiring more powerful products, they also offer X2, X3, and XN strengths. Even as a regular CBD user, this X1 was more than powerful enough to make me feel relaxed physically and mentally from the very first hit. The taste of every hit had the distinct earthy tones of OG Kush - which added to the full spectrum experience and effect.
When buying uncut wax cartridges from CBD For The People, be aware that items aren’t made until you order, and that they don’t have a long shelf life because they contain no preservatives or additives of any kind. In my experience of using the cartridge for over two weeks, there were no issues with the product going bad in that normal use timeframe.

CBD For The People has an admirable mission: making potent but affordable CBD products for CBD users. Suffice to say, they have the products to back up their mission. If you’ve never tried unrefined or uncut CBD products before, CBD For The People is where you should try them.
Their Unrefined CBD Salve and CBD Uncut Wax Cartridge were beyond satisfactory in delivering full-spectrum CBD relief. CBD For The People even has more distilled versions of their products with higher concentrations of CBD for those that require more relief - exactly what you’d expect from a company seeking to provide a solution to all consumers.
