CannaAid Company Info

CannaAid is a leading American hemp company that creates Delta 8 THC products using 100% US-grown hemp flowers. All of their products are US Farm Act of 2018 compliant, meaning that their products are ready to ship right to your door, legally.

This brand’s wide range of products is a sure sign that they are committed to the growing audience of D8 THC users. Their product line runs the whole gamut, from edibles to distillate for vaporization.

I’ve previously reviewed CannaAid’s Blue Razz D8 Gummies and also their Sour Diesel D8 Vape Cart. For this review, CannaAid sent over their Pineapple Orange disposable vape, their Sour Special Sauce CDT vape cart, and their Hoji Nano capsules. I was excited to try them all, especially the Nano capsules!

CannaAid Sour Special Sauce CDT Vape Cart Review

CannaAid’s Sour Special Sauce CDT Vari Flow Vape Cartridge comes in a white and pink windowed box. The cartridge itself is shorter and wider than any I’ve seen before.

That difference alone is outweighed by the flavor: Sour Special Sauce via CDT (cannabis-derived terpenes). With 1ml of distillate testing at 96.37% D8 THC, this cart is ready to go.

The first thing that I noticed about the Sour Special Sauce CDT vape cart was that its variable flow cartridge lets you adjust the airflow. Also, it’s got a little more girth, which means that the cartridge won’t fit in the majority of my 510 threaded batteries.

Since a lot of my vaping devices are stealth-based, they don’t have an unrestricted opening to screw into. For most users, this won’t be a problem because the majority of 510 threaded batteries are ready to accept this big boy right off the bat.

To adjust the variable flow, simply go clockwise for less airflow and counterclockwise to increase it. I left it at the littlest airflow setting just so I could get some thick clouds from the thick vape. Each puff was a smorgasbord of sour and cannabliss in my mouth.

I really like the cannabis sour taste as it brings me back to my East Coast days of Sour Diesel. The D8 high is energetic and complemented perfectly by that terpene-activated nostalgia.

CannaAid Pineapple Orange Disposable Vape Review

The CannaAid Serenity Vape Pen in Pineapple Orange flavor comes in a white and orange windowed box that lets you see the vape from the outside. All in all, the vape includes 1000mg of D8 THC.

If Pineapple Orange isn’t your flavor, it comes in several others as well. Other options include Wedding Cake, Strawberry Banana Rosin, Lemon Cake, Creme Brulee, and Lemon Pound Cake.

This vape comes out of the box charged and ready to go. I started puffing away and was swept away by its fruitiness. This isn’t a cannabis-derived terpene. Instead, it’s a plant-derived terpene that really nails the flavor profile. I was French inhaling left and right to savor the flavor.

This particular vape was used up while I was out and about hiking in the forest. It was along said walk that I realized that there was a good word for the way I was feeling: Serene.

I don’t know if it’s just a placebo effect, but I always feel that fruity strains or flavors give me energy and keep me off the couch. Also a great plus point, this disposable vape by CannaAid is rechargeable. I’m so glad the days of non-rechargeable disposables are gone.

CannaAid Hoji Nano Capsules Review

CannaAid’s Hoji Nano D8 Capsules arrive in a light blue and black bag with a windowed bottom. The capsules themselves are standard-sized and orange so they’re easy to see in case you drop one.

All in all, there are ten capsules and 15mg of Delta 8 THC per capsule. The D8 THC in there is special though, as it is in the form of a water-soluble nanopowder. Nano capsules differ from regular capsules (filled with distillate or something that isn’t water-soluble) in that they are more readily available for the human body.

At least from what I’ve read and heard online, this means that less mg of THC will get you just as high. Of course, I was eager to put this to the test.

For D8 THC gummies, I feel like I eat between 30-50mg to feel the same that 10mg of a D9 THC gummy. These Hoji Nano capsules are the first time that ratio has been thrown off. Just one capsule of nano 15mg D8 THC got me higher than twice the amount of D8 THC.

These capsules really help me address my main issue with edibles. They’re often so loaded with sugars and fats that you’ll end up getting diabetes before you get high. Highly recommended.
