The right candidate demonstrates proficiency, organization, calmness, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment; is resourceful and able to work both independently and with a team, and prioritizes quality and customer service. Trimmers are primarily responsible for the efficiency and quality of the marijuana plant trimming of in preparation for sale. Previous cannabis trim work experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
-Can tightly hand trim 1 lbs of finished flower per day
-Follows and completes harvest, trim, and packaging plan by floating between necessary cultivation facility departments per direction of the Production Manager.
-Learns harvest, trim, and packaging processes via in-person training from the Production Manager and review of all statements of processes on file.
-Understands that harvest and trim production is timed and strive to achieve expected trim weights through focused attention to the job at hand.
-Reports to their direct supervisor if potential bottlenecks or hazards in harvest and trim production and/or forecasting begin to arise.
-Ensures the stability and reputation of the cultivation facility by complying with legal requirements at the local city and state levels to include engaging software applications to uphold compliance.
-Assists state and local government regulators, auditors, and law enforcement agents with inspection visits and information requests.
Other Employment Requirements:
-The ideal candidate will have no felony convictions
-Individuals applying must be a minimum twenty-one (21) years old
-Must be punctual
-Applicants must be a California resident
-Must have valid California driver’s license/ and or ID card
-An extensive background check will be performed for all staff members
-Some situations demand that work be completed on weekends and holidays depending on legal requirements circumstance and severity of outcome
