About

What is the Difference?
Broad Spectrum and Full spectrum products both contain the inclusion of other phytocannabinoids and terpenes. The main difference between Broad Spectrum and Full spectrum products is the detectable presence of THC.

Broad Spectrum products contain non-detectable amounts of THC when tested with currently available lab analysis. Full Spectrum products contain legally compliant levels of THC at or below 0.3% by weight.

Why is this distinction important? It is possible for individuals who use a Full Spectrum product regularly for a duration of time to test positive for the presence of THC through a urine drug screening. This can lead to very obvious problems for certain people in professions and occupations that don’t allow for THC to be present in the body. Keep in mind that the use of a Broad Spectrum product does not guarantee a pass on a urine drug screening though it may mitigate the probability of testing positive significantly.

Another difference is the efficacy of the products. The presence of THC has been shown to help enhance the effects of CBD along with other phytocannabinoids and terpenes in what is referred to as the entourage affect. All cannabinoids along with terpenes together are more effective than each one individually. This is why most people that are not subject to urine drug screening prefer to use Full Spectrum products. We found it necessary to provide an option for individuals that are unable to use a Full Spectrum product. This is why we offer Broad Spectrum products.
